Abstraksi
Under the UN Charter, the primary responsibility of Security Council is to ensure international peace and security. In the real fact such the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Security Council could not pass sanctions resolutions despite repeated threats to do so. Consequently, the threats lost all deterrent effect. The veto power has also been used by the each permanent member to avoid its responsibilities in the international legal community. Thus, what is the use of Security Council?
